A gastronomic event took place at the home of Gobaith’s chair in the summer. The theme, as suggested in the title, was to taste some the best food that France can offer. Cheeses, pates, mussels (British of course) and wines were some of the delights on offer. The supporters who attended the repast raised a marvellous total of £1,050. The trustees are appreciative of all those who volunteered in the preparation and participation in the event, but are particularly grateful to the Chair and his lady wife for making their home and garden available and making it so successful.
